About Dyce Carriers

Established in 1973, Dyce Carriers have grown to become a National Road Transport business with over 100 employees and a modern fleet of around 80 vehicles.

Our headquarters are located within the Granite City of Aberdeen and has depots across the UK including, Invergordon, Dalgety Bay and Poole. We’ve come a long way within the haulage industry, what started as one faithful Morris Minor van transporting goods around Grampian, has since expanded to the fleet we have today. Now we are regularly involved in trips to Ireland and continental Europe whilst also providing flat trailers, step frames and low loaders from Scotland to the South of England. In addition, our current fleet also includes HI-AB’s ranging from 82 fassi down to 32 fassi providing artic HI-AB’s, wagon and drag HI-AB’s and one rigid beavertail HI-AB. We are proud of the company’s progress to date and continue to change and adapt to our clients’ needs and requirements.

Company Growth

At the end of 2018, we took the decision to streamline our current business activities, reacting to market trends, and identified an opportunity in Grangemouth, Scotland. As Scotland’s main container terminal, it made commercial sense for Dyce Carriers to expand going forward in 2019 and we opened a new depot in Grangemouth. Our Grangemouth depot has allowed the Dyce Carriers team to diversify out with Aberdeen offering new and exclusive services in line with container loading and unloading operations.

At our Grangemouth depot we have a Hyster ReachStacker capable of lifting up to 40 tonnes of cargo, an exclusive service to Dyce Carriers. The Hyster ReachStacker has, for years, been regarded as one of the world’s most reliable and powerful container handlers. This piece of machinery is therefore an integral part to our Grangemouth site.
